OXFORDSHIRE
From the spires of Oxford, villages in the Cotswold and along the Thames, to the Ridgeway walk, Oxfordshire is a county which will be enjoyed by everyone.
Oxfordshire is in South/central England. The landscapes are generally flat except for a branch of the Chiltern Hills in the South/East. Oxfordshire by the Thames or Western Oxfordshire in the Cotswolds is particularly pleasant. A huge attraction here is the town of Oxford.
Oxford is like no other town in England and it is easy to imagine some of the worlds greatest minds finding initial inspiration here. Beyond Oxford to the west lie the Oxfordshire Cotswolds, village after village of stunning stone houses and welcoming inns.
