There are also some excellent schools nearby and we can get to the station very quickly for trains to Canterbury and London.At one time we thought of extending the property and had plans drawn up by an architect for an extra bedroom and bathroom as well as a games room and new study. We were able to obtain planning permission but, although this has now lapsed it should be quite simple to arrange for itto be reinstated if required. We also thought about revamping the garage to include an upper storey or even turn it into a separate annex and, although we did not pursue that option, there is still the opportunity to consider that as well.
