In the East Midlands region, the average price of property is £654,805, which represents a 15.16 percent annual change in price. The premium price threshold in the East Midlands is £500,000, which means that the top five percent of sales in the region were above this figure. Over the last 12 months, the average price per square foot has been around £294. The total value of sales over the past year has been £2.09 billion, with 200 sales at or over £1 million.

Prime property price growth has been strengthening over recent months. The average price for a prime market property exceeds £500,000 in over half of the region, most notably in Loughborough and Northampton. Prices in Chesterfield have increased by 31 percent and Loughborough by 22 percent.
