In the West Midlands region of the UK, the average price of property is £738,208, which represents a 15.57 percent annual change in price. The premium price threshold in the West Midlands region is £556,000, which means that the top five percent of sales in the region were above this figure. Over the last 12 months, the average price per square foot has been around £345. The total value of sales over the past year has been £2.5billion, with 374 sales at or over £1 million.

Prime property price growth has been strengthening over recent months. The average price for a prime market property exceeds £500,000 in all parts of the region except for one, most notably in Birmingham and Hereford. Prices have seen the highest increase in Stoke-on-Trent by 24 percent, followed by Birmingham, by 23 percent.
