Homes near the UK's best firework displays

Every year Britain celebrates the anniversary of a foiled plot to blow up the Houses of Parliament and kill King James I by lighting bonfires and letting fireworks into the sky. If you can’t get enough of the exploding colours in the night sky, then we have the perfect properties for you.

The history of the celebration dates back to 1605 when Guy Fawkes and his 14 conspirators smuggled 36 barrels of gunpowder into a cellar beneath the House of Lords. If successful, the blast would have destroyed everything within 500 metres of the explosion.

Following the failed plot, Parliament declared that November 5th would be a national day of thanksgiving. Since then, the traditions have changed to become the events that we know today with fireworks set to music, huge bonfires with a guy on top, and wrapping up warm for a fun autumn evening.

Read on to discover seven of the most popular firework displays in the UK, as well as beautiful properties located nearby.
