Do you dream of living on the water, but don't want to sacrifice living in the city? Fine & Country's floating penthouse boats could be the answer. We went aboard one of these luxury vessels in Limehouse Marina to find out what makes them so unique.
The penthouse boats are anything but average. Not only do they look stunning when moored, they are also fully working boats. With a European license, they can be sailed all the way across the continent, and boats can even be modified to go out to sea.
Each boat is custom made, so the interior is created to the client’s brief. The standard design is one storey with one bedroom, but they can be as large as four bedrooms over two floors, and customers can choose from a number of options, even adding a sauna or solar panels.
David Lindley, Fine & Country CEO, said: “There is no-one better than our experts in prime residential property to market these unique penthouse boats. We hope to expand them to rivers and waterways across the UK and abroad.”
These moorings will be marketed by Fine & Country Canary Wharf.
Fine & Country’s Canary Wharf office Director Amanda Mangan said: “We are thrilled to be able to offer these boats to the people of London. It’s a perfect opportunity for someone who has always wanted to have a home on the water in the heart of the city, without having to compromise on quality. We expect buyers to either live on the boats during the week, as a relaxing weekend retreat, or to host corporate functions with a difference.”
