This 33,4 hectare cane farm features 27,4 hectares of established irrigation fields under sugar cane. The remainder of the property consists of areas taken up by buildings, roads, a dam, vlei areas and natural bush. It is located adjacent and immediately south of Malelane town (Extension 9) at an altitude of 315 to 330 metres above sea level. The topography of the farm is gentle with only slight slopes and contours. It is subject to typical Lowveld climatic conditions. The soil texture is Hutton (Clay percentage:15 -30%) with an average effective depth of more than 120 cm.

The irrigation fields (sugar cane) are fully equipped for irrigation with water available from a canal, which originates from the Crocodile River. The water is extracted from the canal and then fed into a holding dam from where water is then pumped to the fields. The farm has listed water rights of 31 hectares, managed by the 'Crocodile River Major Irrigation Board'.
