The main structures are under thatched roofs, while an interesting combination of corrugated iron, steel and terracotta tiled roofs cover the balconies and verandas. Although the building is relatively new, the incorporation of unique character pieces and collectibles into the construction is an interesting feature of the design. A wooden deck has been constructed down at the river from which guests can observe the variety of animals and birds. The big five are regularly sighted from here.
