I have the role of chief executive, which involves strategic planning, oversight of key business areas and providing support and advice to our management and exceptional sales team. I also advise clients on getting things done when the legal process is problematic!

My professional experience gives me unique insight on all aspects of the property selling process, which I share when needed. I first became involved in property about forty years ago, when I bought and renovated my first home. In 2005, following a twenty year career in Manchester as a property lawyer, Helen and I took over a local Cumbrian estate agency, building our business by delivering outstanding results to our clients.

Joining Fine & Country in 2014 was a natural development for us. It has realised my vision of leveraging our local expertise and professional standards with Fine & Country’s outstanding market presence and unmatched marketing reach. In my view, this gives clients an unbeatable proposition when selling their individual or high value home.

I’ve been married to Helen for 16 years and we have two teenage children. Downtime is spent with our family, playing bad blues guitar, keeping up with current affairs, finance and business; cooking, gardening, music, wine and spending time in Mallorca.
