Fine & Country Competition Notice

6 night all inclusive trip to the Grotto Bay Beach Resort, Bermuda

This competition is offered and operated by Fine & Country Limited (“Company”), The Couture Travel Company (“Travel Company”) and Grotto Bay Beach Resort (“Resort”). 

This competition will start on 24 February 2017 and the final prize winner will be selected at random from all valid entrants who have correctly entered before 18:00 GMT 30 April 2017. 

To enter this competition you must:-

•    Be a homeowner;

•    Book a valuation on the Fine & Country website (; and

•    Use the promotional code BERMUDA to enter the competition. 

There is one prize and the winner will receive a seven (7) day, six (6) night trip on an all-inclusive basis to the Resort, on the island of Bermuda, with return business class tickets from London Gatwick airport, for 2 persons. 

The all-inclusive prize includes:- 

•    breakfast, lunch and a three (3) course a la carte daily dinner; 

•    unlimited bar brand drinks including wine by the glass; 

•    theme night buffets and afternoon tea; 

•    weekly Manager’s Rum Swizzle Party; 

•    an unlimited public transportation pass in Bermuda including buses and ferries;

•    non-motorised water sports e.g. sailing, snorkeling, kayaking, windsurfing; 

•    daily activity programmes e.g. nightly entertainment, Kids Club (which operates during the US summer school holidays); and 

•    all taxes and gratuities. 

Please note, bottles of wine and champagne are excluded and any other costs and expenses which you incur as part of the trip which are not set out above and included as part of the all-inclusive element of the prize will be your responsibility entirely. 

A judge selected by the Company will determine the winner at random within seven (7) days (“Drawn Date”) from the closing date of the competition.

The winner will be notified by email within twenty eight (28) days from the Drawn Date.

To receive the prize, the winner must reply within three (3) days to, providing their full name and address so Fine & Country can provide them with the relevant information for you to redeem the prize. 

All entrants must be 18 or over. You can only enter the competition once and anyone found to use multiple email accounts to enter will be excluded from entering the competition and ineligible to win the prize. Multiple entries in a single day will also not be accepted.

About the Competition

The competition is a free prize draw promotion. The competition is free to enter and no purchase is necessary. 

How to Enter

All entries must be submitted via the website and only one entry per person is permitted.

Restriction on entry

In entering the competition, the entrant confirms it is eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize it may win. The Company may require the entrant to provide proof it is eligible to enter the competition. 

If you are the winner of the competition, you may be required to provide proper evidence of age, residency and home owner status to claim the prize. Such evidence must be provided within seven (7) days of the Company asking you for it and failure to do so, or if the Company has any doubts as to the validity or authenticity of such evidence, may result in forfeiture of the prize and another winner being selected. 

The prize

The winner will receive the prize set out in the competition details above. 

The prize must be taken between 1 September 2017 and 15 May 2018. Travel is subject to availability and certain blackout dates may apply. 

Winner’s responsibility 

The winner is responsible for ensuring they are able to accept the prize as set out above and in accordance with these terms and conditions. In the event they are unable to do so, then the Company reserves the right to withdraw the prize. 

The winner is responsible to ensure that you and your guest have passports that are valid for a minimum of twelve (12) months.  

The winner and their guest are responsible for their own travel insurance. 

The winner and their guest are responsible for their transportation to and from London Gatwick airport, any transportation required on arrival and during their stay in Bermuda, as well as any gratitude, upgrades, incidentals and other expenses not specified herein. 

There is no substitution, assignment or transfer of any portion of the prize permitted by the Company and no cash alternative is offered.

The Company does not accept any responsibility if the winner is not able to take the prize. 

Providing the prize

Unless stated otherwise in the competition details, the prize is supplied by the Company, Travel Company and Resort. 

Other important information

The Company, Travel Company and Resort are not responsible for any fees or additional charges resulting from the winner or guest change of accommodation. 

If the winner or their guest is unable to take the prize due to:

•    Illness;

•    Act of God; 

•    Inclement weather;

•    Transportation delays or cancellations;

•    Failure or emission of any Government and/or Authority; and

•    Any other delay or failure caused by a third party. 

The Company, Travel Company and Resort shall have the option at their sole discretion of:

(a)    being relived of any liability for fulfillment of the prize or part thereof; and/or

(b)    extending the period during which the prize may be awarded, for a period equal to the winner or their guest’s reason for not being able to take the prize.

Should the winner or their guest be unable to take the prize and the Company, Travel Company and Resort agree to extend the period as referred to in paragraph (b) above, the prize must then be utilised by the winner on the same itinerary as previously agreed. 

The Company, Travel Company and Resort are not liable for any loss or damage to personal items and any travel baggage, of the winner or their guest. 

The Company, Travel Company and Resort are not responsible or liable for any cancellations, delays, diversions or substitutions or any act or omissions by any third party or other transportation company, which as a result changes the service or accommodation provided. 

The promoter of this competition is the Company.
