Hebden Bridge is a market town in the Upper Calder Valley. It is hugely popular with both residents and visitors alike, thanks to the beautiful scenery, busy shopping area and direct railway services, Manchester can be reached in 40 minutes and Leeds takes less than an hour.

There are a host of bars, cafes and restaurants many showcasing locally sourced ingredients and produce. Hebden Bridge hosts a number of festivals throughout the year, including music, arts and a vintage weekend. The Rochdale canal offers an opportunity to walk along the towpath alternatively it is possible to hire a canal boat and navigate your way through the beautiful surroundings from the water.

Average property prices in Hebden Bridge are 20% above the average for Calderdale as a whole, with the average price of detached property a little less than £360,000.
Halifax and the surrounding areas have a variety of schooling options. In the private system Rishworth School offers through schooling taking children from age 3 through to 18. To the north of Hebden Bridge is the National Trust property of Hardcastle Crags with over 400 acres of historic woodland and 30 miles of footpaths. At its centre is Gibson Mill a former 19th century cotton mill which has now been transformed in to an “off grid” museum.
