When we began the process of building this house and the three neighbouring properties the brief was to create spacious and very stylish modern homes with high-end finishes and all the mod cons that one would expect to find in a house of real quality, and I’d say that each of those boxes has most definitely been ticked.
Every element of the house has been meticulously designed with comfort and modern living in mind, we wanted light and space to be a theme that runs throughout. So the layout of the house centres around a fabulous open-plan kitchen with space for both dining and lounging, and on the upper floors we’ve created generously proportioned en suite bedrooms, which feature full height windows that flood each space with natural light. We’ve also incorporated top-of-the-range fixtures and fittings throughout, solar panels have been installed to make the house much more energy efficient to run and woven into the fabric of the building is SMART technology that combines to create a really comfortable living experience. As well as heating, hot water and lighting that can all be controlled from a tablet or smartphone, we’ve also added Velux windows that will automatically close if it starts to rain, there’s under-floor heating throughout the ground floor and we’ve also installed CCTV front and back for peace of mind. It really is a house that’s got it all.
