West Street Farmhouse has been a very special home for our family these past 14 years and has given us many treasured memories. We will be sad to say goodbye to this wonderful place. The village of Finglesham is a friendly neighbourhood and very much a community. Horse riders from the stables at the end of the road and dog walkers wonder the lanes at the weekends and the village has a delightful pub/restaurant just a short walk down the road. Nearby Northbourne also has an excellent pub, as well as a village hall with a wide variety of activities and the renowned Northbourne Park prep school. A few years ago the area received fibre broadband, which has made a huge difference and is ideal for those who may need to work from home. The medieval town of Sandwich is nearby, with its historic buildings, pubs, restaurants and riverside cafes. Equally, Deal is just a short drive with excellent shops, independent restaurants, the seafront, and Tides swimming pool complex. Sandwich station is only nine minutes by car and Deal station an 11 minutes, offering direct trains to London, which are high speed from Ashford. Easy access via the A256 provides quick Links to the rest of Kent and beyond.
