The quaint hamlet and harbour of Porlock Weir is approximately three miles and West Somerset's premier coastal resort of Minehead which has a more comprehensive range of shopping facilities is approximately six miles. The County town of Taunton which has mainline rail connections and access to the motorway network is approximately thirty miles to the east.

From Minehead proceed on the A39 towards Porlock and after approximately four miles take the right hand turn signposted Allerford and Bossington. Proceed through the village and after approximately one mile turn right over a stone bridge over the river. Follow the lane bearing left where the property will be found on the left hand side.
