We purchased the house fourteen years ago, since when we have undertaken a considerable, ambitious, project to enhance and extend the house to become what is now our truly fabulous family home, and perfect for modern day living. Our home is full of natural light and, having such flexible and adaptable space, has been ideal, particularly at those times when our children required extra space, whilst we have been able to enjoy our own quiet area. Such a brilliant home for family occasions and, at Christmas, the house is always brimming with relaxed, happy, sociability."

Favourite Room: "The daily hub of family life is our large kitchen family room; it is such a sociable space in which friends settle for relaxed chats, often whilst meals are prepared. The patio doors opening out onto the spacious terrace generate the sense of living space and garden fusing into one; this is of particular benefit when we entertain in the summertime."

Favourite aspect of the grounds or surrounding area: "We enjoy our outside space very much. We have a nice lawn and several areas to enjoy relaxed dining. In addition, the fact that we have stables and paddocks has enabled us to care for our horses close to home."

Memorable event (of not another favourite room "Our master bedroom overlooks and the garden and paddock. We can see the horses in their stable from our kitchen, lounge and bedroom. We also have a Juliet balcony in here and, on sunny mornings during the spring and summer months, doors are open wide, and the sound of birdsong wafts into the room."

What they will miss/why they are leaving "The children have now flown the nest and it is time for the next chapter in our lives. We think we can feel justly proud in creating what has been a fabulous family home for us all in such an idyllic setting."
