SELLER'S INSIGHT We chose this property because we were moving from a large house in the centre of Bury St Edmunds, and were looking for a spacious character home with more grounds in a nice village. Blackbourn Cottage ticked every box and more.

The rooms are all so spacious and our favourite room is definitely the sitting room. It is bright, warm and has a fabulous inglenook fireplace which is lovely in the winter.

We will really miss the garden. It is so beautiful all year round and has a great sense of space which we are grateful for during the pandemic.

There is a good feeling of community within the village and are sad to be leaving, but the time has come for us to be closer to children and grandchildren in Sussex.  

STEP INSIDE A multi-pane glass door opens in to the spacious Reception Hall with stairs leading to the first floor accommodation and doors leading to all rooms including the Cloakroom which is fitted with a two piece suite.

The Sitting Room is a stunning room with a window to the front aspect and fine array of exposed wall and ceiling timbers along with an impressive inglenook fireplace.
