We love the area as it is quiet and peaceful yet we can be in Canterbury within a few minutes. However we feel it is time for us to downsize and let another family enjoy this immaculately presented home where all they need to do is install their furniture and put the kettle on.

There are cherry orchards surrounding us and lovely places to go for walks and we are not far from the St Lawrence Kent County cricket ground for any cricketing enthusiasts. The city has some UNESCO Heritage site historic buildings, high street stores and individual shops, bars and restaurants together with excellent grammar schools and world renowned private schools, three universities and two hospitals. As well as the high speed train from Canterbury West, the A2 is not far for Dover and Folkestone if you want to go to the Continent. There are also good recreational opportunities in the area including the Kingsmead Leisure centre and the Polo Farm Sports Club as well as sailing, fishing and bathing along the nearby coast. For golfing aficionados there is the Canterbury Golf Club but if you want to go further afield you can try the Championship golf courses at Sandwich and Deal including Royal St George, Princes and the Royal Cinque Ports clubs”.
