Also within easy reach is the sandy, surfing beach at Widemouth Bay, the North Cornish coastal path on the main A39 Atlantic Highway, providing good access south to Newquay and its international airport and north to Bideford and Barnstable in North Devon and via the North Devon link road access, can be gained onto the M5 to Bristol and beyond.

Directions
From Bude proceed south on the A39 And take the first left turn signposted Marhamchurch and proceed into the village. Here turn left and you pass the Bullers Arms, take the left turn into Hobbacott Lane and then the immediate right turn into Hilton Road. Follow this until reaching a T-junction and turn right and proceed down into the valley at the other side and as the road levels out take the left turn signposted Bridgerule. Follow this road a little way where Harris's will be found on the left hand side.
