"I'd always had a bit of a hankering to build my own home, something that would perfectly suit our family's needs, so when my wife and I happened upon this superb plot of land on the edge of this lovely village, everything just fell into place."

"Externally we wanted the house to have an almost timeless quality, so we've gone for a period style that fits beautifully with our village surrounding. However inside, although we've added touches that give it a homely feel, it's very much a large modern home that's wonderfully conducive to modern family life. It's a house that has worked really well for us all for the past twelve years and I'd say that it's one that offers everything you'd want for a family."
