Henley is a popular village situated approximately 5 miles north of the county town of Ipswich. The village has a church, primary school, village hall, bus service and wonderful walks. The nearby villages of Claydon and Needham Market also provide everyday facilities.

The county town of Ipswich, set on the estuary of the River Orwell; has undergone an extensive gentrification programme in recent years, mainly around the waterfront, making Ipswich a popular 'commutable' town to London.
