SELLERS INSIGHT We stumbled upon Five Oaks over 20 years ago, whilst on a family holiday in Devon, and fell in love with the place and the amazing views across Dartmoor. The property was a 1926 bungalow which we subsequently encased in a new build and turned into the warm and working family home it is today.

SPRING surprises us each year with banks of baby cyclamen, violets, primroses, daffodils, blossom on the fruit trees and the "baa" of baby lambs. A family of great tits come each year to nest in an old chimney pot at the base of a Clematis – how do they know to return?

SUMMER brings blue skies, baby birds, walks on Hay Tor and around our woodland. Swallows return to re-build their nests in our stables.
