We're on the edge of Bovey in a secluded spot along a quiet country lane surrounded by rolling hills, it's a beautiful landscape situated just outside of Dartmoor National Park. It sounds remote, but in fact we can be in Bovey Tracey very quickly, it takes us 15 minutes to walk or just a few minutes by car. It really is the best of both worlds.Bovey has the lovely National Trust HQ called Parke ‐ you can enjoy walks along the river and through the woods, it's got a great café which turns into a pretty special restaurant in the evenings. The town has all the amenities you could need, but if you want to an even bigger choice of shops you can get to Exeter, Newton Abbot or Plymouth very easily. We're both outdoors people and we love walking our dogs on Dartmoor, with its endless trails and numerous Tors waiting to be discovered just a short car journey away, which has been ideal for us. We moved to Reeve's Hall in Spring and the garden whilst then somewhat wild, surprised us with a plethora of spring flowers - the grounds are scattered with primroses, blue bells and violets, followed by a rainbow of coloured rhododendrons and azalea.
