The village has a community run shop, popular pub, active church and a great primary school. The Ilsington House Hotel is not far away either, with restaurant and well regarded spa. STEP INSIDE The entrance hall is a nice size and gives access to the living accommodation and the staircase to the first floor. There is also a cloakroom. You'll be drawn through into the sitting room so that you can admire the view, large picture windows in the sunroom area give the perfect spot to relax and unwind. As well as the sunroom, the sitting room is also open to the dining room, this keeps the light flowing throughout and so that the view can be enjoyed. From the dining area, there are French doors out onto the terrace. There is also a door into the breakfast room which leads then into the Kitchen. The kitchen has been well looked after and has plenty of storage and worktop space. The sink has been ideally positioned beneath the window, giving a perfect view to do the washing up. The utility room off the kitchen is a good size, and as well as having space for all the usual appliances, there is plenty of space for boots and wellies or damp dogs to dry off!

There are three further rooms which are accessed from the Sitting room. The first is the study, which has French doors onto the terrace. The next, which is accessed from the study is the Family Room which could easily be a ground floor bedroom if required as there is a en-suite shower room. The family room, then leads out to the conservatory. This part of the house was configured so that it could be used as a ground floor annexe if required.  

STEP OUSTIDE The first part of the driveway is tree lined, which gives a really private approach. The drive then opens up to give access to the cottage on the left (Rosemary Cottage) and along the front of the house to the double garage.

The grounds are mainly to the back and side of the house, with a lawn that wraps around both sides. Steps lead up to the terrace. The garden leads onto the paddock. In total the plot measures 2.83 acres. The land could be potentially used for animals, or left as a wild flower meadow. The plot is very private indeed and the boundary is lined with mature hedging and trees. The land gently slopes away from the house, which gives the most wonderful view as a backdrop.
 

ROSEMARY COTTAGE The cottage in the grounds is very cute and works perfectly as additional accommodation for guests. Subject to the relevant permissions, it would make a wonderful holiday let. There is a kitchen, bathroom room, WC, living room and double bedroom. The living room has French Doors out onto the lawn.  

LOCATION Haytor is a stunning location for those that love the great outdoors. To have all 368 square miles of Dartmoor National Park literally on your doorstep is really very special indeed. The beauty here is that you are still close to amenities, in just a few minutes' drive you can be down in Bovey Tracey where there are all the facilities and shops you could need. The location also boasts two very well-regarded pubs/restaurants. The Rock is a small establishment that has a wonderful reputation and has a great menu. Tinpickle & Rhum is part of the Moorland Hotel and again, does excellent food and is a nice spot to pop in for a drink. Both of these are just a walk from Dream Tor. Fancy a change from the moors on a hot day? The beaches at Teignmouth and Shaldon are just 30 minutes away and the South Hams around 45 minutes.

The location is very accessible but has a rural feel. Those needing to travel can be at Newton Abbot Train Station in around 25 minutes, where there are services to London Paddington in just 2.5 hours. Please get in touch if you would like to know more about this wonderful location.
