"Potton is a great place to live with lots going on for everyone," say the owners. "The pretty Georgian market square offers pubs, restaurants, a library, butchers, bakery, fish and chip shop, post office, hairdressers and beauty salon, florist, gift shop and more. There's a wonderful sense of community here, especially during 'Party on Potton,' a bi-annual event held on the August bank holiday weekend and run by a committee of local volunteers. There's a carnival parade and lots of daytime activities and evening entertainment for all to enjoy over the three days. The church and library often host events and there are many groups to get involved with such as singing and drama, baby and toddler, sports, a fitness studio offering a variety of exercise classes, and various girl guide and scouting groups. There are two parks with play equipment, the main one with a newly refurbished skate park and a pretty brook running through, as well as local walks through woodland within easy reach of the house."
