Stratford upon Avon

Stratford-Upon-Avon is internationally famous through being the birthplace of William Shakespeare and home to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre attracting almost four million visitors a year who come to see its rich variety of historic buildings. Stratford is also a prosperous riverside market town. There are numerous fine restaurants, inns, bars and coffee shops. There is a good choice of public and private schools and excellent sporting and recreational amenities. These include golf courses, swimming pool and leisure centre

Alcester

Alcester is a picturesque and ancient Roman town with the River Arrow running through. There is a variety of independent local shops as well as a Waitrose, sporting, social and cultural facilities and is ideally located for commuting to the larger towns of Redditch, Evesham and Worcester. The cultural centre of Stratford upon Avon is less than 10 miles away and Chelthenham is less than 30 minutes to drive to.

Bidford-on-Avon

Bidford-on-Avon is an attractive village on the banks of the River Avon. The village offers good local shopping with a super market, post office, individual shops, pubs, restaurants and coffee houses. Other facilities included an Infant and Junior School, medical centre, leisure facilities and good local public transport. Bidford is within easy reach of the M40, M42 and M5. Birmingham airport is 30 minutes away and direct train lines to London go from close by Evesham, Honeybourne and Warwick Parkway

Welford-on-Avon

Welford on Avon is a highly sought after village approximately four and a half miles from Stratford upon Avon, close to the north Cotswolds and the Vale of Evesham. The village has a wide range of attractive period properties with good amenities including an excellent primary school, three popular inns, village stores, butcher, church, bowls and golf club, all surrounded by delightful open countryside. The village enjoys good road communications with the towns of Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick, Leamington Spa, Alcester, Evesham, Chipping Campden and Banbury, as well as Birmingham City Centre.

‘The county town of Warwickshire’ is famous for its magnificent castle and historic charm. The town offers an excellent array of shops, bars, restaurants and leisure facilities. State and private schooling is within walking distance, with Myton, Warwick Prep, Warwick School (boys) and Kings High (girls). Access to the Midlands motorway network is also within easy reach with nearby M40 (junction 12) and M42 with access to the M1, M6, Birmingham International Airport and Birmingham NEC. The rail link to Birmingham and London Marylebone is available within walking distance to Warwick station and from either Warwick Parkway or Leamington Spa station a short drive away

Wellesbourne

Wellesbourne is situated within easy reach of nearby, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick and Leamington Spa. It is conveniently positioned on the M40 corridor giving easy access to both Birmingham and London. If you prefer the train there are several stations to choose from including Warwick, Warwick Parkway, Leamington Spa and Banbury. Schools in the local area are excellent with a wide variety of both private and state options. Wellesbourne Church of England primary school is highly rated and offers nursery and primary education. The village itself has an array of local amenities including a medical centre, dental surgery and library. The village also offers excellent shopping options with a post office, supermarkets, chemist, bars, restaurants, leisure facilities and petrol station to name a few.

Kineton/ Little Kineton

The village of Kineton has good facilities including; schools, shops, two pubs, a hotel, a restaurant, doctor’s surgery, and a sports and social club with many sporting and social events. Little Kineton, just a mile away, is in a beautiful rural location in the South Warwickshire countryside. There are many delightful country walks in this idyllic spot

Evesham

Evesham is an historic riverside market town with excellent boating and marina facilities as well as several leisure activities available in the area including, rowing, tennis, etc. The beautiful riverside town boasts a wealth of pubs, restaurants and shops. Evesham is in the heart of England on the edge of the beautiful Cotswolds.

Pershore

Pershore is renowned as one of England’s premier small Georgian towns. Nestling in the valley of the River Avon it centres on the famous Abbey and the High Street boasts a range of fine brick built Georgian buildings. The town provides a good selection of facilities including specialist shops, an undercover market, public houses, restaurants and the very popular theatre. Bishampton is a popular village five miles to the north of Pershore, with facilities including post office/shop and pub both owned by the village, a church, village hall and hairdresser.

Fladbury

Fladbury is a very desirable village located close to both Pershore and Evesham on the banks of the River Avon. Offering excellent amenities including a primary school, village shop, village hall, church, award winning butchers, several public houses along with a cricket pitch and tennis and canoe clubs. The neighbouring village of Cropthorne is a pretty village and is characterised by its many traditional local stone and timber-framed homes, some of which are thatched.
