Terms and Conditions

Fine & Country Golf Competition Notice

2 night stay in a 5* hotel in Dubai and 2 rounds of golf at Jumeirah Golf Estates.

This competition is offered and operated by Fine & Country Limited (“Company”), European Tour Properties (“Golf Company”) and Jumeirah Golf Estates (“Golf Resort”). 

This competition will start on 23 May 2017 and the final prize winner will be selected at random from all valid entrants who have correctly entered before 18:00 GMT 28 May 2017. 

There is one prize and the winner and their guest will receive a two (2) day, two (2) night stay in a 5* hotel in Dubai, with £1,000 worth of travel expenses covered. 

The prize includes:- 
•    A two-night stay for two persons at a 5* hotel
•    Two rounds of golf for two people at the stunning Jumeirah Golf Estates, one on Earth Course and one on Fire Course

•    A three-course meal at the Clubhouse, Jumeirah Golf Estates
•    Up to a £1000 towards cost of flights

A judge selected by the Company will determine the winner at random within two (2) days (“Drawn Date”) from the closing date of the competition.

The winner will be notified by email within twenty eight (28) days from the Drawn Date.

To receive the prize, the winner must reply within three (3) days to mediacentre@fineandcountry.com, providing their full name and address so Fine & Country can provide them with the relevant information for you to redeem the prize. 

All entrants must be 18 or over. Multiple entries in a single day will also not be accepted.

By submitting an entry to this competition, the entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions and our standard terms and conditions. If you do not agree or accept any of these terms then do not take part in this or any other competition operated by the Company. 

These terms and conditions apply to the competition run and organised by the Company of 121 Park Lane, London, W1K 7AG. 

These terms and conditions may change from time to time therefore, please check them each time you wish to enter this competition. 

About the Competition

The competition is a free prize draw promotion. The competition is free to enter and no purchase is necessary. 

How to Enter

All entries must be submitted at the Fine & Country exhibition stand.

Restriction on entry

In entering the competition, the entrant confirms it is eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize it may win. The Company may require the entrant to provide proof it is eligible to enter the competition. 

If you are the winner of the competition, you may be required to provide proper evidence of age, residency and home owner status to claim the prize. Such evidence must be provided within seven (7) days of the Company asking you for it and failure to do so, or if the Company has any doubts as to the validity or authenticity of such evidence, may result in forfeiture of the prize and another winner being selected. 

The prize

The winner will receive the prize set out in the competition details above. 

The prize must be taken between 1 June 2017 to 30 November 2017. Travel is subject to availability and certain blackout dates may apply. 

Winner’s responsibility 

The winner is responsible for ensuring they are able to accept the prize as set out above and in accordance with these terms and conditions. In the event they are unable to do so, then the Company reserves the right to withdraw the prize. 

The winner is responsible to ensure that you and your guest have passports that are valid for a minimum of twelve (12) months.  

The winner and their guest are responsible for their own travel insurance. 

The winner and their guest are responsible to organize their own travel transportation.  

There is no substitution, assignment or transfer of any portion of the prize permitted by the Company and no cash alternative is offered.

The Company does not accept any responsibility if the winner is not able to take the prize. 

Providing the prize

Unless stated otherwise in the competition details, the prize is supplied by the Company, Golf Company and Golf Resort. 

Other important information

The Company, Golf Company and Golf Resort are not responsible for any fees or additional charges resulting from the winner or guest change of accommodation. 

If the winner or their guest is unable to take the prize due to:
•    Illness;
•    Act of God; 
•    Inclement weather;
•    Transportation delays or cancellations;
•    Failure or emission of any Government and/or Authority; and
•    Any other delay or failure caused by a third party. 

The Company, Golf Company and Golf Resort shall have the option at their sole discretion of:
(a)    being relived of any liability for fulfillment of the prize or part thereof; and/or
(b)    extending the period during which the prize may be awarded, for a period equal to the winner or their guest’s reason for not being able to take the prize.

Should the winner or their guest be unable to take the prize and the Company, Golf Company and Golf Resort agree to extend the period as referred to in paragraph (b) above, the prize must then be utilised by the winner on the same itinerary as previously agreed. 

The Company, Golf Company and Golf Resort are not liable for any loss or damage to personal items and any travel baggage, of the winner or their guest. 

The Company, Golf Company and Golf Resort are not responsible or liable for any cancellations, delays, diversions or substitutions or any act or omissions by any third party or other transportation company, which as a result changes the service or accommodation provided. 

The promoter of this competition is the Company.
